Pine wood is a soft wood with beautiful natural irregularities that enhance its overall uniqueness. It is a wood that continues to breathe, and so, must be kept away from direct sunlight or sudden temperature changes. Wipe it regularly with a soft damp cloth, but do not use soap or detergents. An occasional re-treating of the surface with wax will help preserve its character.
